Work Environment

You will be working in our outpatient facility located in Islip, NY, which is designed to optimize patient care and comfort. Our office is equipped with the latest technology and tools for diagnosis and treatment, including advanced imaging systems and interventional equipment. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours required for patient consultations or emergencies. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations using detailed medical history reviews, rigorous physical examinations, and state-of-the-art diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and treat various cardiovascular diseases, including but not limited to coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular disorders.
• Perform and analyze cardiac imaging studies such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and angiograms to inform treatment decisions.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that may include prescribing medications and recommending lifestyle changes, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines.
• Implement interventional cardiology procedures including angioplasty, stenting, and pacemaker placements, utilizing minimally invasive techniques whenever possible.
• Engage in ongoing collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to formulate comprehensive care plans and ensure seamless patient care transitions.
• Deliver patient education sessions focused on cardiovascular health, preventive strategies, and effective disease management practices.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active medical license to practice cardiology in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this pivotal role ranges from $500,000 to $600,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
