Work Environment

Located in comforting and state-of-the-art outpatient office facilities, our Perth Amboy clinic is designed to promote patient recovery and comfort. Working on-site, our Physical Therapists engage directly with patients, utilizing the latest equipment and methodologies to deliver individualized care. The full-time schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patient history, performing assessments, and documenting results to formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies effectively to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in goal-setting processes.

• Exhibit proficiency in executing treatment protocols, adapting techniques in response to individual patient presentations and the changing landscape of healthcare.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic treatment approaches and promptly address any significant changes in patient conditions.

• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care, documenting all components of the care process, from initial evaluations to discharge summaries, maintaining a clear record for continuity of care.

• Demonstrate effective time management skills, maintaining productivity while managing patient schedules and participating in community marketing initiatives.

• Engage in continuous improvement by contributing to the department's objectives, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and accreditation standards.

• Enhance patient experiences through flexible scheduling and a dedicated approach to accessibility within care systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient clinics serve a diverse patient population with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, post-operative recovery needs, and sports injuries. As a Physical Therapist, you will work closely with individuals ranging from sports enthusiasts seeking rehabilitation to older adults focused on improving mobility and quality of life. Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A valid state license for practicing as a Physical Therapist.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of physical therapy experience in an outpatient setting. Experience with diverse patient populations and familiarity with contemporary treatment modalities are desirable. Proven ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team and a track record of contributing to patient education would be assets as well.

Compensation and Benefits
