Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and interviews with clients, documenting their mental, behavioral, and emotional health status.

• Evaluate and interpret psychological evaluations, collaborating with clients to develop personalized treatment and recovery plans tailored to their specific needs.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage participation and openness among clients.

• Monitor and track clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, adapting strategies as necessary to ensure effective interventions.

• Coordinate care by collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create comprehensive intervention plans.

• Follow up with healthcare providers regarding clients who may require hospitalization or additional support services to ensure continuity of care.

• Identify potential behaviors or triggers that could hinder recovery and implement proactive strategies for prevention.

• Support family members and caregivers in understanding mental health challenges, providing them with tools to assist their loved ones effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed mental health counselor, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Clients may range from children to adults, each requiring tailored therapeutic approaches. The telehealth environment allows you to interact with clients from various backgrounds, fostering inclusivity and cultural competence in your practice.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor is essential.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, preferably with experience in AVATAR or similar platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, alongside a sign-on bonus.
