Work Environment\n

This position is designed for remote work, allowing for flexible delivery of therapy services through a combination of telehealth and in-person sessions at our outpatient office in Tacoma. Our facility is equipped with advanced technology to ensure seamless communication and therapy delivery. We operate seven days a week from 7 AM to 10 PM, offering counselors the ability to create a flexible schedule that suits their professional and personal lives.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to meet each client's unique needs.

• Develop and implement thorough assessment strategies to evaluate clients' mental health conditions and track their progress over time.

• Provide group and family therapy sessions, facilitating open communication and support among participants to foster shared healing.
\n
• Employ various therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to address diverse client issues.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and holistic treatment approaches for clients.

• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with state laws and ethical standards while ensuring confidentiality and privacy.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients we serve come from diverse backgrounds and age groups, each presenting unique challenges and needs in their mental health journeys. Our counselors work with individuals, couples, and families to address various concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance misuse. By fostering trust and rapport, our counselors create a safe space for clients to explore their feelings and develop effective coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required. A Master’s or Doctoral degree in these areas is preferred.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted LMHC license in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a counseling role, ideally within a clinical setting.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and relevant technology to document client interactions effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, with additional opportunities for performance-based bonuses. Benefits include:
