Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the psychosocial needs of students and their families.

• Collaborate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) aimed at promoting student success in the educational environment.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Provide supportive counseling to students and their families, helping them navigate emotional and behavioral challenges.
\n
• Remain compliant with all Federal and State regulations related to mental health services.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities to address various mental health concerns.

• Build and maintain rapport with students, families, and interdisciplinary team members to foster a positive and nurturing learning atmosphere.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents within the school system, along with their families. This role includes addressing a wide range of issues from anxiety and depression to behavioral concerns and academic difficulties. By working closely with educators and school staff, you will play a pivotal role in creating interventions that directly contribute to improved academic performance and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with diverse populations.
