Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from various conditions, including injury, disease, and surgical procedures.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient, utilizing therapeutic techniques such as exercise programs, manual therapy, and mobility improvement strategies.
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and tools to enhance patient recovery, tracking progress, and modifying treatment plans based on patient response.
• Educate patients and families on self-management and preventive strategies to promote long-term health outcomes.
• Document treatment modalities, progress, and patient responses accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records in compliance with health regulations.
• Stay current with developments in the field by participating in workshops, professional organizations, and networking opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from young children to older adults, each presenting unique challenges and goals. Your role is pivotal in assessing how physical therapy can impact their daily lives, helping them regain independence and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program preferred.
• State License in Physical Therapy, with active recognition from the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication purposes.
• Demonstrated flexibility and agility in adapting treatment plans to meet patients' evolving needs.
• Current CPR certification demonstrating commitment to patient safety and emergency preparedness.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in outpatient care.
• Experience working with patients from a wide range of age groups and backgrounds.
• Prior exposure to a variety of treatment modalities and rehabilitation practices.
