Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients, fostering a safe and trusting environment while ensuring adherence to professional ethics and confidentiality.

• Conducting regular sessions with clients to track and discuss their progress, stability, and any adjustments necessary for therapy, including appropriate discharge when goals are met.

• Creating, implementing, and monitoring person-centered treatment plans that cater to the unique needs and circumstances of each client.

• Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for each client, including progress notes, treatment plans, and intake assessments.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions each week, employing evidence-based practices to support each client's therapeutic journey.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development through individual supervision, team meetings, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to enhance client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily focus on a youth population, working with children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your approach will emphasize building strong rapport and understanding each client's unique life circumstances, ensuring that therapy is not only effective but also inclusive and empowering.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a mental health-related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• Capability to meet the internal credentialing requirements specific to our clinical setting.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

• Demonstrated proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and individual/group therapy modalities.

• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records management systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
