Key Responsibilities\n

As an LPCC, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients with diverse mental health needs, nurturing positive relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting regular therapy sessions to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. You will assess stability at each appointment and initiate discharge planning when appropriate.

• Developing, implementing, and continually monitoring personalized and evidence-based treatment plans tailored to meet the clients' individual goals.

• Ensuring timely and accurate documentation of client progress notes and treatment records to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments to establish rapport and identify immediate and long-term therapeutic goals.

• Participating in individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and support personal growth in therapy practices.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to coordinate effective treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on youth and young adults within our community, addressing a range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. Our clinic emphasizes a strengths-based approach, ensuring that therapy is centered on the client's needs and experiences. As a counselor, you play a crucial role in supporting your clients through their unique challenges, providing guidance and therapeutic interventions that promote recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in a mental health-related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• At least one year of experience working with psychiatric patients or in substance abuse counseling.

While a minimum of one year of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in community mental health centers, disaster trauma therapy, or specialized youth programs will be highly regarded. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms can also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
