Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Here, you will have access to modern treatment modalities including electrical stimulation, hot packs, and various cardiovascular exercise equipment such as treadmills, recumbent bikes, and elliptical trainers. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at our center, your day-to-day responsibilities will be diverse and impactful:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' unique goals and needs.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of rehabilitation techniques.
• Provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions, typically working with 7-8 patients daily to help them advance their recovery.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Utilize treatment modalities including estim and hot packs as part of therapeutic exercises.
• Incorporate fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patients' physical conditions and lifestyle goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care services utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on athletes and individuals recovering from sports-related injuries. You will treat a wide range of conditions including knee pain, lower back pain, shoulder pain, and tennis elbow, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of each patient. Qualifications

Requirements for this position include:

• A current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• A minimum of 1 year of proven clinical experience in a physical therapy role, particularly in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients and their families.
• Strong clinical assessment abilities, paired with a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Proficiency in the use of electronic medical records (EMR) software.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates who possess additional experiences such as advanced manual therapy techniques or specialization in sports rehabilitation will be viewed favorably. A thorough understanding of exercise design tailored for various rehabilitation needs is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
