Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial client assessments through comprehensive interviews, documenting findings systematically from the point of intake to treatment completion.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to inform effective treatment plans.

• Develop personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored to individuals, couples, families, or groups, optimizing therapeutic outcomes.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to engage clients effectively.

• Monitor each client's progress throughout the treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal care.

• Collaborate with a multispecialty team, sharing insights and strategies with other healthcare professionals such as psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers.

• Follow up with medical professionals regarding the care of clients who may be hospitalized, ensuring continuity of care.

• Recognize and address behaviors that may obstruct clients' recovery, offering skills and strategies to manage these challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Innovative approach to therapy and proven experience providing mental health counseling.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems is a plus, with familiarity in AVATAR particularly welcome.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients facing complex emotional and physical health conditions, as well as substance use disorders.

• Understanding of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices.

• Comprehensive knowledge of psychotropic medications and their implications in therapeutic settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
