Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments for clients experiencing mood disorders, evaluating the severity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Work collaboratively with clients to design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families on various mood disorders, associated treatment options, and valuable self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document clients' progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on each client’s evolving needs.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in treating mood disorders to continually enhance treatment efficacy.

• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards through diligent documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods, particularly CBT and DBT.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in telehealth services and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems can be beneficial. Previous work in outpatient settings addressing mood disorders is also a plus.
