Key Responsibilities\n

As a Virtual Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary duties will include:

• Counseling clients individually via video sessions to enhance their emotional and mental well-being.

• Encouraging clients to articulate their thoughts and feelings, guiding them towards greater self-awareness and improved relationship dynamics.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve working with a diverse clientele, all of whom are pre-screened to ensure they are stable and present a low acuity level. This allows you to focus on delivering meaningful therapy to individuals ready to engage in their healing journey, fostering growth and insight without the complications of crises or acute conditions.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling.

• Possession of an independent license (one of which must be issued by the state board), such as:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
\n
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
\n
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

\n
• Ability to make informed evaluations and decisions related to treatment planning.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.

• Proficiency in utilizing technology for remote counseling services.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in a virtual counseling setting, particularly in a community health clinic environment, will be given preference.
