Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their mental health and substance use challenges, with a specific focus on co-occurring disorders.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that employ evidence-based therapies, helping clients navigate the complexities of recovery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to enhance coping mechanisms, develop relapse prevention strategies, and improve emotional regulation.

• Collaborate on a regular basis with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring a cohesive and integrated care approach that addresses the full spectrum of client needs.

• Perform routine monitoring of substance use behaviors while leveraging motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their recovery journeys.

• Educate clients and their families about the interrelation of mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the critical importance of ongoing treatment compliance.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of treatment interventions and outcomes in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in case reviews, team meetings, and training sessions to continuously refine your skills and fostering collaboration within the team.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated proficiency in applying evidence-based treatment methodologies, particularly those focused on co-occurring disorders such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A deep understanding of the intricacies of both mental health and substance use disorders as they relate to treatment and recovery.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that facilitate effective collaboration within an interdisciplinary team setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
