Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, utilizing innovative telehealth technologies to connect with patients from the comfort of their own homes. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to meet the scheduling demands of your clients. This work setting promotes a balanced work-life integration while delivering high-quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to explore patients' trauma histories and determine specific therapeutic needs.

• Collaborate with patients to create individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and stabilization.
\n
• Develop educational resources to inform patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available support resources.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation within our electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and best practices focused on trauma-informed care.
\n
• Continuously engage in professional development opportunities to stay informed on the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will work with primarily include individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your compassionate approach will play a key role in helping these patients navigate their recovery journeys, while also building supportive therapeutic alliances that promote healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, LMFT, or LP in the state of New York.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficient use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable with technology-based communication platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of relevant post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling, particularly in trauma-focused interventions.

• Experience in delivering group therapy sessions and facilitating community resources for trauma recovery.
\n
• Background in crisis intervention techniques and management.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
