Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Baylor Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on thorough patient evaluations that assess physical function and mobility.
• Utilizing advanced assessment techniques to identify patient needs, including diagnostic testing of muscles, nerves, joints, and functional abilities.
• Providing hands-on therapy, including manual therapeutic exercises, traction, and the application of physical agents to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Collaborating with Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure that treatment plans are implemented effectively, while offering supervision and guidance to enhance patient outcomes.
• Engaging in regular evaluations of patient progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in consultation with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Documenting patient records meticulously, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and regulations.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing to comprehensive care planning and case discussions.
• Providing education and resources to patients and their families regarding home exercise programs, rehabilitation techniques, and equipment use.
• Staying abreast of the latest therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation practices to enhance service delivery and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse group of outpatient clients, ranging from post-operative recovery patients to those managing chronic pain conditions and mobility impairments. Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; DPT preferred.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in an outpatient or acute care setting.
• Current CPR certification to promote patient safety.
• A valid driver's license and insurance for patient home evaluations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in home health or specialized rehabilitative care settings will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits
