Work Environment\n

This position offers the unique advantage of a remote work setting, allowing flexibility while maintaining the collaborative essence of patient care. While the primary responsibilities will be conducted through telehealth, you will also have access to our outpatient office facilities as needed. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential for flexible hours based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the unique needs of each patient, tailoring treatment strategies to ensure effective and individualized care.

• Deliver a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that encourage community and shared learning, addressing common mental health concerns.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient wellness.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services, equipping patients with immediate support during challenging emotional or psychological events.
\n
• Educate clients regarding available treatment options and community resources to enhance their support systems and treatment adherence.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring continuity and quality of care.

• Participate actively in case consultations and professional development activities to remain at the forefront of clinical practices.

• Continuously seek out and integrate the latest research findings to adapt treatment plans that maximize patient outcomes and effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be serving a diverse group of clients, addressing a range of mental health challenges. Our patient population includes adults, adolescents, and families seeking support to navigate life’s challenges. This role requires sensitivity to the unique cultural backgrounds and personal experiences of each client, and you will be instrumental in promoting inclusivity and understanding within therapy sessions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Experience in performing comprehensive mental health assessments and developing strategic treatment plans tailored to individual patients.

• Proven track record in delivering effective individual and group therapy to clients from various backgrounds.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on effective communication and empathy.
\n
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and high standards of practice.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other clinical software applications.

• A collaborative mindset to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of clinical experience in the mental health setting is required. Experience with telehealth practices and familiarity with various digital tools for remote therapy would be highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

At Touch of Peace Counseling Services, we value our employees. Our competitive salary range is $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
