Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to provide care from a setting that is comfortable and conducive to counseling. As part of our telehealth initiative, you will utilize technology to connect with clients through virtual platforms, making mental health services accessible to those who may struggle to attend in-person appointments. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health and psychosocial needs through telehealth consultations.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and monitor their effectiveness.

• Document patient medical histories, physical assessments, diagnoses, treatment progress, and outcomes using our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure accurate and timely clinical records.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers, psychiatric staff, and community organizations, to facilitate holistic care for clients.
\n
• Provide ongoing education and resources to clients and their families about mental health and coping strategies, fostering resilience and self-management.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and ethical guidelines impacting mental health service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and may present with a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and more complex psychosocial issues relating to substance abuse and domestic violence. You will engage with families to assess their collective needs, ensuring they receive appropriate referrals to community-based services that can support their overall wellbeing.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist within the state of California.

• Demonstrated experience in providing counseling services to a diverse clientele, particularly through telehealth platforms.
