Work Environment\n

This remote role is embedded within a collaborative outpatient setting, which emphasizes teamwork and mutual growth while prioritizing patient-centric care. Regular interactions with colleagues through virtual meetings will ensure you are a vital part of our clinical discussions. The work hours will predominantly be Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotational basis to accommodate client needs.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to gauge the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring tailored care approaches.

• Collaboratively developing individualized treatment plans with clients, aligning their specific needs, goals, and preferences with appropriate therapeutic methodologies.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring adherence to best practices.

• Educating and supporting clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to foster independence and resilience.

• Continuously monitoring client progress throughout therapy, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

• Partnering closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to maintain a comprehensive, integrated treatment approach.

• Staying informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to enhance your therapeutic approach.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential records of client sessions, assessments, and treatment interventions in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on individuals coping with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. The clinic's diverse clientele allows you to engage with individuals from varying backgrounds, enriching your professional experience and fostering a deeper understanding of different cultural perspectives on mental health.

Qualifications\n

The following qualifications are essential:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Georgia.

• Proven ability to effectively apply evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to applicants who possess:

Compensation and Benefits\n
