Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite, focusing on home care for patients within the Immokalee area. You will engage with patients in their homes, providing personalized treatment that addresses their unique needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities, employing evidence-based techniques to develop effective treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding each patient's continuum of care, ensuring coordinated and comprehensive treatment.
• Interact with all patients in a respectful manner, adhering to customer service standards while delivering care that meets their individual needs.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions, regularly assessing patient progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress accurately using electronic health record systems, maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and professional standards.
• Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives to promote the home care services provided by Maury Physical Therapy.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, fostering a collaborative learning environment to enhance service delivery.
• Attend and contribute to interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and share insights regarding best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at our home care facility, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including elderly individuals recovering from surgery, those managing chronic conditions, and patients with varying disabilities. Your role in delivering personalized in-home care is critical for promoting recovery, enhancing mobility, and improving quality of life for our clients.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• BLS certification is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist is required, candidates with experience in home care settings will have a distinct advantage. Demonstrated leadership skills, particularly in staff supervision or mentorship, are also preferred as they enhance our collaborative care environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
