Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on relieving pain, enhancing mobility, and preventing disability, in line with each patient's unique capabilities.
• Oversee the activities of physical therapy assistants, ensuring that treatment plans are followed correctly and modifications are made based on patient assessments.
• Conduct thorough evaluations using diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, and joint functions, ensuring appropriate treatment strategies are determined.
• Evaluate the home environment for potential rehabilitation and recommend changes to facilitate improved patient independence.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic exercises, including manual techniques and educational activities to assist clients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor and document patient progress through clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to discuss and refine treatment approaches during case conferences, contributing to holistic patient care strategies.
• Engage with patients and their families to guide them through therapy procedures and empower them with self-management techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for clinical and payroll purposes, adhering to company policies and standards.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and support their professional development, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic focuses primarily on outpatient therapy for individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. You will work with a diverse range of patients, from athletes to seniors, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program and a Bachelor's Degree in related fields.
• A valid and current PT licensure in Florida.
• One year of experience in a physical therapist role, preferably in an outpatient or acute care environment.
• Current CPR certification and a strong commitment to clinical excellence.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Ability to think critically and make decisions independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach.

Preferred Experience

While one year of experience is required, additional experience in specialized therapies or advanced treatments will enhance your application. Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
