Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Immokalee, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement effective treatment strategies for a range of conditions and specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional training, to facilitate patient recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes based on their response to therapy.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers, equipping them with knowledge on injury prevention and self-management strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, attending case conferences and contributing to treatment discussions.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and standards while promoting a positive clinic environment focused on customer service.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals and actively contribute to the clinic's overall performance metrics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population. Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current state licensure in physical therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills to engage with electronic health records and documentation.

Preferred Experience

Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly preferred, with an understanding of evidence-based treatments and methodologies for various patient populations. Previous engagement with multidisciplinary teams is an asset, enhancing collaborative efforts within the clinic.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
