Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in our onsite rehabilitation center, which is equipped with modern equipment and technology to facilitate effective physical therapy practices. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., fostering a professional yet welcoming atmosphere that encourages collaboration and communication among staff. Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized rehabilitation services to patients recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries, taking into account their specific health goals and needs.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, allowing for focused, individualized care and thorough evaluation of treatment progress.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and interventions to enhance patients' motion and functional capabilities, prioritizing non-invasive strategies over dependence on medications.
• Create detailed and customized care plans that incorporate various evidence-based treatment methodologies, aligning with patients' rehabilitation goals.
• Incorporate fitness and wellness programs designed specifically to meet the unique requirements of each patient, improving their strength, flexibility, and overall well-being.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their recovery journey, providing encouragement and understanding to enhance their commitment to rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care for all clients.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately, utilizing EMR software, particularly Web PT, for efficient management and reporting of treatment outcomes.
• Engage in continuous evaluation of treatment techniques to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on emerging trends in physical therapy and patient care methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on the outpatient orthopedic population. You will work with a diverse group of patients ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults dealing with mobility issues related to chronic conditions. Your expertise in orthopedic therapy will be vital in addressing the unique challenges faced by each individual, helping them regain their independence and improve their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and orthopedic assessments.
• Strong ability to develop and implement effective exercise programs tailored to the individual requirements of patients.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.
• A commitment to lifelong learning, staying current with research-based practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with a wide range of physical therapy techniques and treatment modalities.
• Experience working with a diverse patient demographic, including athletes and elderly populations.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
