The Body Postural Correction Orthopedic Rehab is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Immokalee, Florida. This full-time role emphasizes hands-on rehabilitation within our state-of-the-art outpatient rehabilitation facility. Work Environment

As a Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work directly onsite, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams that include physicians, other therapists, and support staff. Our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and resources, promoting an environment of continuous learning and patient care excellence. You can expect a Monday to Friday 40-hour work week dedicated to improving the quality of life of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients referred by physicians to establish individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust rehabilitation therapies and exercise regimens based on evidence-based practices tailored to orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patient populations.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service while contributing to the operational efficiency and effectiveness of patient programs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes and ensure the highest standard of care.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions in accordance with the patients' home or community settings, working closely with their care team to align treatments with prescribed medical directives.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers, offering clear and actionable guidance to empower patients in their recovery journey.
• Adhere to utilization goals and contribute actively to achieving organizational business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Body Postural Correction Orthopedic Rehab, you will work with a diverse range of patients. This includes those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, traumatic injuries, chronic conditions, as well as pediatric and neurologic cases. Your expertise will play a critical role in facilitating their recovery and helping them regain independence, making a substantial impact on their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in physical therapy with relevant credentials will also be considered.
• Must hold a valid state license in physical therapy.
• A minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy, specifically within an orthopedic setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in word processing and related computer applications.
• A proven commitment to establishing strong relationships with patients to help achieve their therapeutic goals.
• A positive attitude towards creating connections and improving community relationships.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with advanced orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary collaborative approaches and patient-centered therapy.
• Experience in community outreach or public health initiatives related to physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
