Work Environment

As an onsite rehabilitation facility, our center fosters a vibrant, collaborative atmosphere where teamwork is paramount. You will work alongside a skilled team comprising two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), focused on delivering quality, patient-centered care. Our facility is designed for optimal patient interaction and rehabilitation, ensuring that each patient receives individualized attention and support during therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive patient assessments.
• Identify patient goals and tailor therapeutic interventions, ensuring they align with clinical best practices.
• Manage a full caseload of patients, dedicating one hour for personalized sessions that enhance their recovery process.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions to improve patient mobility and strength.
• Advocate for non-surgical interventions that prioritize holistic patient care and reduce medication reliance.
• Motivate and educate patients on self-management strategies to foster long-term wellness.
• Conduct regular evaluations of treatment efficacy and communicate findings with patients and the healthcare team.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, WebPT.
• Maintain an organized treatment environment that upholds safety, cleanliness, and professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At New Era Spine and Joint Rehab Center, we primarily serve patients covered by private medical insurance, including individuals with orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation needs, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our patient base varies in age and activity levels, allowing for a diverse clinical experience that enhances professional growth and competency in multiple therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Active and valid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining an impeccable professional record, free from any disciplinary actions.
• Extensive knowledge of manual therapy techniques and proficiency in developing effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR software for efficient patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience implementing evidence-based practices tailored to meet individual patient needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time Physical Therapist position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
