Work Environment

The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for work-life balance while fully dedicating your time to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their individual goals and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to provide personalized attention and care for each patient.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to deliver effective therapeutic interventions, employing treatments that enhance mobility and physical performance.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs that cater to the unique requirements of each patient.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Monitor patient progress regularly and make necessary modifications to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
• Encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, promoting motivation and adherence to prescribed exercises and interventions.
• Document all treatment sessions thoroughly, using EMR software like WebPT to ensure accurate records of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a varied patient population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals with chronic pain, seniors looking to maintain mobility, and patients post-surgery. Each patient presents unique challenges and opportunities for intervention, and your role is pivotal in helping them navigate their recovery with confidence.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent from an accredited program is required.
• Must possess an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with a clean record, free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and orthopedic outpatient care is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with modern EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for precise and efficient documentation practices.
• Strong knowledge of current research-based physical therapy practices to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
