Work Environment

You will be working in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in the vibrant community of Immokalee, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients presenting with functional limitations and disabilities, developing tailored treatment plans to address their specific needs.

• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols and adjust plans based on ongoing evaluations and patient progress, ensuring the highest standard of care.

• Record and maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries using electronic health record (EHR) systems to promote clarity and care continuity.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and facilitate comprehensive care management.

• Actively participate in patient education programs, advising individuals and their families on home exercises and strategies for maintaining optimal health.

• Attend and contribute to facility meetings to discuss best practices, access initiatives, and other operational matters aimed at enhancing service delivery.

• Engage in ongoing professional training and development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy and rehabilitation practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily working with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and those dealing with chronic pain or neurological conditions. Your expertise will empower individuals to regain their independence and enhance their quality of life, making a significant difference in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.

• Valid state Licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.

• A minimum of 2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required.

• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety and emergency readiness.

Preferred Experience

• Experience utilizing both hands-on and technological advancements in treatment, with familiarity in working in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

• Clinical experience in implementing individualized intervention strategies and enhancing patient education programs.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to the base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
