Work Environment

As a physical therapist in our Immokalee outpatient office, you will work in a collaborative and supportive setting. Your typical work week will consist of a Monday to Friday schedule, totaling 40 hours. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their specific needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Champion high-quality customer service, ensuring effective communication and a positive experience for all patients and caregivers.
• Engage in collaborative healthcare practices, working alongside fellow clinicians to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based methods.

• Meet and maintain minimum utilization goals and contribute to achieving team objectives aimed at improving patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will encounter a diverse patient population, including individuals specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, neurological recovery, and sports medicine rehabilitation. Your expertise will be invaluable in addressing the unique challenges each of these patient groups presents, and you will employ cutting-edge methodologies to ensure their needs are met.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
• Proficiency in computer applications and word processing to maintain accurate patient records.
• Ability to establish rapport with patients to facilitate goal achievement and enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• A commitment to positively engaging with patients and the broader community.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in specialized areas, such as manual therapy or advanced rehabilitation technologies, will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits

Valleywise Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
