Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at restoring function and alleviating pain in patients with orthopedic conditions.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional capabilities using diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, and joint function.
• Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants in executing treatment plans, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
• Administer manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as traction and massage, tailoring interventions to meet specific patient needs.
• Assess and adapt home environments to optimize rehabilitation outcomes and enhance patients' independence.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on patient care plans and provide insights on patient progress and therapy effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries to reflect patient status and treatment outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families regarding therapy techniques, home exercise programs, and the use of assistive devices to facilitate ongoing rehabilitation efforts.
• Stay updated with ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and maintain licensure in Florida.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Therapy Motion Rehab Clinic will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries, including post-operative rehabilitation for joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will be instrumental in guiding patients through their recovery journey, focusing on pain relief, increasing mobility, and restoring function to enhance their daily lives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Valid Florida license as a Physical Therapist with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated competence in orthopedic physical therapy techniques and evidence-based practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster patient engagement and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
