Work Environment

This position is onsite, primarily focused on in-home patient care. Our therapeutic approaches are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. As an integral part of our orthopedic outpatient unit, you will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care that leads to optimal recovery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your role will involve a variety of critical responsibilities daily, including:

• Conducting thorough evaluations that include a review of patient history, physical assessments, and the development of individualized treatment plans based on your findings.

• Implementing effective treatment protocols that cater to the current stage of the patient's recovery, using evidence-based methodologies to guide your clinical decisions.

• Maintaining precise and timely documentation of patient care activities, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to ensure clear communication among the clinical team.

• Providing education and transparent communication to patients and their families regarding treatment options, goals, and progress throughout the therapy process.

• Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to consult on modifications to care plans as patient conditions evolve.

• Engaging in discharge planning that ensures proper follow-up care and facilitates smooth transitions to independent living or other care settings.

• Participating in team meetings to discuss progress, share insights about treatment strategies, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working exclusively with orthopedic patients who require physical therapy to recover from surgical procedures, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal health. Our diverse client base includes individuals from various backgrounds and age groups, providing an enriching opportunity to develop a broad skill set in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate preferred.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida, in accordance with local regulations.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic setting will be highly regarded. Experience with home-based therapy and a track record of successfully collaborating with multidisciplinary teams is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
