Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite rehabilitation facility, providing a team-oriented atmosphere where clinicians, administrative staff, and support teams work hand-in-hand. Our modalities include state-of-the-art equipment and facilities designed to support effective rehabilitation programs. As a Physical Therapist, your typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for work-life balance while focusing on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, which includes reviewing medical histories and performing necessary assessments to inform treatment decisions.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, ensuring that methods used are relevant to each patient's specific situation.
• Document all aspects of patient care meticulously, creating detailed initial evaluations, daily notes, progress summaries, and discharge plans that comply with regulatory standards.
• Engage with healthcare professionals across disciplines to coordinate patient care and effectively respond to changes in patient conditions, advocating for additional medical consultations when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and relationships with third-party payers to ensure appropriate billing and reimbursement processes.
• Participate in facility meetings and contribute your insights to enhance clinical practices and procedural efficiencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily working with a diverse patient population consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic procedures, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to deliver the best care standards and outcomes.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is essential for maintaining patient safety.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
