Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will engage in various responsibilities that are crucial to enhancing patient outcomes, including:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional capabilities using standardized assessments and diagnostic tools to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implementing evidence-based physical therapy interventions, focusing on manual therapeutic exercises, traction, and modalities to relieve pain and restore function.
• Overseeing the work of physical therapy assistants to ensure proper execution of therapeutic interventions while providing guidance and mentorship.
• Preparing and maintaining accurate clinical documentation such as evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Monitoring patient progress and response to therapy, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on clinical judgment and patient feedback.
• Actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to strategize comprehensive treatment approaches and contribute to the overall care plan.
• Educating and training clients and their families in the use of adaptive devices, exercises, and techniques that empower them to remain active and independent.

Qualifications
