Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Rehabilitation Facility, where you will work in a collaborative setting with a multidisciplinary team that values continuous learning and improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for patients recovering from injury, disease, or surgery within the rehabilitation facility setting.
• Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans that utilize a variety of approaches, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive devices.
• Utilize advanced treatment methods to ease patient pain and enhance mobility, including therapeutic exercises, stretching techniques, and the application of state-of-the-art equipment.
• Document patients' treatment plans, progress, and outcomes meticulously to ensure effective communication among care teams and ongoing patient evaluation.
• Regularly reassess patient progress, modifying treatment strategies as needed to achieve optimal therapeutic goals.
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers to encourage participation in therapy and the correct use of assistive devices.
• Maintain and enhance your professional knowledge through educational workshops and peer collaboration to stay current on the latest in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population ranging from children to senior adults, each with unique rehabilitation needs due to various conditions including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain syndromes, neurological disorders, and orthopedic injuries. The ability to build rapport and trust with patients and their families is essential in assisting them in their healing journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida, with active engagement in professional standards and practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients, caregivers, and team members.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and medical software for documentation and communication.
• A passion for working flexibly within a collaborative and busy rehabilitative environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but new graduates are also welcome and encouraged to apply, as mentorship opportunities are available.
• Experience with various patient populations and conditions is a plus, especially with rehabilitation practices relevant to the Immokalee community.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and skills. In addition to a generous salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
