Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Maine Physical Therapy Clinic, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injury, disease, or surgery, in both clinical and home environments.
• Developing individualized treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic techniques such as exercise regimens, manual therapy, and advanced modalities to relieve pain and improve functionality.
• Implementing and modifying treatment protocols based on patient progress, ensuring that individualized goals are met.
• Documenting treatment sessions and outcomes meticulously to monitor patient advancements and adjust therapies as necessary.
• Reassessing patient capabilities regularly and modifying treatment plans to ensure continued improvement and recovery.
• Advising patients on the use of assistive devices, such as braces or walkers, when needed for ambulation and daily activities.
• Educating patients, their families, and caregivers about therapeutic techniques and self-management strategies to encourage independence.
• Maintaining professional development by attending workshops, reading relevant publications, and participating in mentoring or networking opportunities within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve interacting with a diverse range of patients, including children, adults, and elderly individuals with varying degrees of mobility challenges. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (Doctorate preferred).
• A valid Florida State license to practice physical therapy.

• Proficiency in electronic documentation and standard office software.

Preferred Experience
