Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients utilizing evidence-based practices to diagnose movement dysfunctions and develop treatment strategies.
• Design and implement individualized treatment programs, employing a mix of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities tailored to each patient's needs.
• Document treatment plans, patient progress, and outcomes meticulously, keeping track of any modifications required throughout the therapy process.
• Reassess and modify plans as necessary to ensure patients meet their therapeutic goals, facilitating a smooth transition in their recovery journey.
• Advise on the selection and fitting of assistive devices, enhancing patients' ability to perform daily activities independently.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers about rehabilitation techniques and exercises while promoting safe practices and health literacy.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid State License for Physical Therapy in Florida.

• Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record systems for documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits
