The Guthrie Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist for our outpatient office located in beautiful Immokalee, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical abilities, establishing a comprehensive plan of care that addresses their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Implement tailored physical therapy treatments aimed at relieving pain, enhancing movement, and restoring overall function.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure effective delivery of therapeutic interventions.
• Administer specialized treatments including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as traction and massage.
• Regularly monitor and document patients' progress on electronic medical records, ensuring accurate and timely updates on their condition and response to therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to adjust treatment plans based on patients' evolving needs.
• Maintain client safety by assessing the home environments of patients receiving therapy, and provide recommendations for modifications to enhance their independence.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings for holistic case evaluations, contributing valuable insights into patient care strategies.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, fostering understanding and adherence to therapy programs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in physical therapy to ensure innovative and effective treatment approaches.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current, active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no disciplinary actions or sanctions.

• Proficiency with electronic medical records systems, specifically Web PT.
• Strong analytical skills and a commitment to staying current with evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The Guthrie Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging between USD 100,000 and 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
