Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical condition through the review of medical history, specific assessments, and developing a comprehensive treatment plan based on these findings.
• Communicating evaluation results and treatment plans effectively to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in goal-setting for maximum engagement and success.
• Implementing therapeutic protocols tailored to individual patient needs and preferences, continuously adjusting approaches based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team by consulting other healthcare professionals as necessary and documenting any changes in patients' conditions that require alterations to their treatment plans.
• Overseeing discharge planning and aftercare protocols, ensuring timely and accurate documentation that captures the trajectory of each patient's care, from initial evaluation to discharge evaluations.
• Meeting productivity metrics and managing your schedule to maintain timely and efficient patient care while engaging in marketing activities that promote our services within the community.
• Contributing to departmental goals by participating in workshops and committees aimed at improving patient access and outcomes.
• Engaging in professional development by seeking and pursuing continuing education opportunities, possibly serving as a mentor or clinical instructor for students within the program.
• Striving to enhance the overall patient experience through quality service delivery and addressing any barriers to access within treatment protocols.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• A valid physical therapy license in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
