Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, limitations, and needs to establish a comprehensive treatment plan that maximizes recovery potential.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and advanced equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique therapeutic goals, ensuring they are engaged and motivated throughout the recovery process.
• Document treatment sessions, monitor patient progress, and adjust therapeutic plans as necessary to reflect patients' evolving needs and capabilities.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families about rehabilitative techniques, assistive devices, and self-management strategies to promote continued healing and wellness beyond the clinical setting.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and continuing education, striving to maintain up-to-date clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role encompasses providing care to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, or musculoskeletal conditions. The focus on patient-centered care allows you to build meaningful relationships, adapting treatment approaches to meet the specific needs and preferences of each patient, thus enhancing their rehabilitation experience.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.
• Proficient in utilizing computer systems for documentation and treatment planning.
• Ability to adapt to flexible work hours and respond to varied patient demands.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting is a plus but not mandatory for compelling candidates.
• Exposure to home care environments or outpatient therapy is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
