Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, identifying their needs and establishing personalized treatment plans.
• Implement and adapt therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices to address the individual goals of patients.
• Treat a diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related conditions.
• Foster strong relationships with patients to motivate them and facilitate their progress towards meeting functional milestones.
• Utilize therapy modalities and manual techniques to improve patients' physical functions and overall quality of life.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, exercises, and self-management strategies to enhance recovery processes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes and ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred).
• Current Physical Therapy License in the state of Florida.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from a recognized organization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on patient interaction.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer applications for documentation.
