Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients, utilizing standard physical therapy practices to diagnose injuries, diseases, and disabilities.
• Design individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and physician referrals, ensuring that goals are measurable and attainable.
• Administer physical therapy interventions using various modalities and techniques to promote healing and restore function.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment protocols, rehabilitation exercises, and self-care techniques to facilitate recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation that adheres to regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure optimal patient care.
• Assist in the supervision and mentoring of physical therapy assistants, aides, and students to promote consistent quality in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will encompass a broad spectrum of patient demographics, ranging from neonates to geriatric adults. You will engage with patients coping with diverse medical conditions, requiring tailored therapeutic approaches. Your ability to adapt your treatment methodologies to meet the specific needs of each population will be essential to achieving effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• A valid state Physical Therapist license is required.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably a Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• At least two years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, ideally in home care or similar environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits
