Work Environment

This role is an onsite position focused on home care, allowing you to work closely with patients in their own environments. You will have a regular Monday to Friday schedule, with 40-hour workweeks, providing a consistent and predictable work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluations for patients referred by physicians, developing tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and conditions.
• Implement and oversee treatment protocols using advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities aimed at restoring function and alleviating pain.
• Maintain clear and ongoing communication with the healthcare team and families regarding patient progress and any necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, activities, and other therapies to encourage participation in their recovery process.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for patients that fosters trust and engagement.
• Meet the established utilization goals and collaborate with colleagues to optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve a diverse array of patient specialties, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine. This role allows you to engage with varied demographics, tailoring your approach to ensure that each patient receives the most effective and personalized care possible.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Possession of a valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in using word processing and other technology-related tools.
• Ability to cultivate strong relationships with patients, making them feel valued and understood throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, previous experience in a clinical environment or home health care setting will be advantageous in adapting swiftly to our processes and methodologies. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment protocols and a commitment to continuous professional development can further enhance your contributions to our team.

Compensation and Benefits

The offered salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, our benefits package includes:
