Work Environment\n

As a remote counselor, you will be part of a collaborative team that prioritizes effective communication and teamwork. Our virtual setting is equipped with advanced telehealth technology that allows for secure and seamless interactions with clients. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, while still receiving continuous support and resources from our dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the specific needs, barriers, and goals of individuals seeking substance use disorder treatment.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods that have demonstrated effectiveness in promoting recovery.

• Provide engaging individual counseling sessions, implementing motivational interviewing techniques and cognitive-behavioral therapy strategies to empower clients to change their behaviors and attitudes towards substance use.

• Lead dynamic group therapy sessions that foster community among participants, encourage shared experiences, and build supportive networks for recovery.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other multifaceted care providers to coordinate integrated care for clients.

• Offer timely crisis intervention for clients facing substance-related emergencies, ensuring they have immediate guidance and support in difficult situations.

• Educate clients and their families about addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources that can facilitate ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational requirements.

This position primarily focuses on individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PSYD in the state of Washington.

Compensation and Benefits\n
