Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the needs and concerns of each client, completing same-day documentation to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping.

• Maintain vigilance in crisis situations by utilizing effective de-escalation skills, providing immediate support, and ensuring clients feel safe and understood.

• Develop comprehensive safety plans and risk assessments tailored to individual client scenarios, coordinating with local crisis services as needed.

• Facilitate smooth transitions for clients moving between inpatient and outpatient services, working closely with hospital staff to ensure continuity of care.

• Carry after-hours phone support on an alternating basis, providing care coordination to clients in times of need.

• Document critical incidents promptly and complete necessary reports within established timelines to uphold accountability and therapeutic standards.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, participating in regular meetings to discuss client progress and strategies for ongoing support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on a diverse population of clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and other behavioral health concerns. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited program is required.
