Key Responsibilities\n

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group therapy sessions where clients can share experiences and learn from one another, fostering a sense of community and connection.

• Individual Counseling: Provide tailored one-on-one therapy sessions that help clients explore their emotions and develop effective coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to establish personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans, ensuring that their unique needs and aspirations are addressed.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools to track client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and client feedback.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with fellow therapists, psychiatrists, and support staff to coordinate care and discuss complex cases, ensuring comprehensive support for all clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are navigating various mental health challenges. Many of our clients face issues related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and life transitions. Your role will involve creating a safe space where they can openly express themselves and work towards recovery. You will also engage with their families as appropriate, facilitating a holistic approach to mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential from the state of New Jersey.

• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
