Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Young Harmony, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individualized counseling sessions to assess clients' needs, address personal challenges, and facilitate their journey toward mental wellness.

• Collaborating with family members and other healthcare professionals to develop holistic treatment plans that reflect the goals and requirements of each client.

• Providing psychoeducation on perinatal mental health, explaining the connection between mental well-being and various life stages, particularly for new parents.

• Creating and maintaining a network of community referral sources, including inpatient facilities and outpatient programs, to broaden access to comprehensive mental health services.

• Maintaining meticulous documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, attendance, and discharge summaries in compliance with industry standards, ensuring confidentiality and ethical compliance at all times.

• Leading consumer group sessions to promote community support, shared experiences, and collaborative learning among clients.

• Participating in training, staff meetings, and case conferences to foster team growth and enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse clientele grappling with a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and perinatal-related conditions. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess a Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related discipline. Importantly, candidates must have no history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party, and should be authorized to work in the U.S.
