Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to coordinate and optimize mental health treatment protocols within the facility, as well as with external healthcare providers.

• Conduct mental health in-service training for medical, psychiatric, and security staff, ensuring a thorough understanding of mental health issues and interventions.
\n
• Effectively intervene in and defuse mental health crises, using de-escalation techniques to maintain safety and provide immediate support.
\n
• Participate in commitment hearings as required, representing the clinic's interests and advocating for the needs of patients.
\n
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for each patient, taking into account their unique backgrounds, challenges, and aspirations.
\n
• Maintain detailed documentation of all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
\n
• Safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.
\n
• Verify and analyze patients’ mental health histories, ensuring accurate integration of treatment protocols and medication management.
\n
• Compile regular reports regarding patient treatment outcomes and special projects to inform the clinic’s approach and identify areas for improvement.

• Work collaboratively with nursing and mental health staff to establish post-release referrals for patients, facilitating smooth transitions to ongoing care and support.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
