Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide mindfulness-based interventions, notably the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, tailored to meet the individualized needs of your clients.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients’ unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals that inform personalized treatment plans.
\n
• Guide clients through various mindfulness exercises, including meditation and specific breathing techniques, designed to enhance their self-awareness and emotional regulation.
\n
• Facilitate engaging group workshops that focus on stress management and resilience-building, allowing individuals to learn from each other in a supportive environment.

• Incorporate mindfulness strategies into one-on-one therapy sessions, addressing mental health concerns sensitively and effectively.

• Collaborate closely with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to integrate holistic mindfulness practices into the clients’ comprehensive treatment strategy.

• Thoroughly document client progress, interventions, and treatment plans in accordance with compliance standards and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily engage individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related issues. You will cater to diverse demographics within the Springfield, Oregon area, ensuring that each client's unique background and experiences are acknowledged and respected in the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Oregon is a prerequisite.

• A strong background in mindfulness practices is preferred, though not mandatory.

• Demonstrated proficiency in applying mindfulness techniques within therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create a supportive, calming environment conducive to therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
