Key Responsibilities\n

As a Telehealth Professional Counselor, you will take on the following key responsibilities:

• Work proactively with participants to prevent the escalation of crises, utilizing counseling techniques and interventions that address immediate and long-term mental health challenges.

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date crisis alert system for effective communication and coordination with county crisis services, ensuring rapid support for clients in need.

• Coordinate and document transitions between various levels of care, including inpatient hospital services and outpatient programs; collaborate with hospital staff to facilitate successful discharges and continuity of care.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and refine treatment approaches, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse population of clients, each presenting a unique range of psychiatric, social, and emotional difficulties. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• An active, unrestricted license in Oregon; candidates must hold one of the following credentials: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• Demonstrated proficiency in counseling and psychological assessment, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of mental health treatment.
