Advocate Mind Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to provide essential early intervention services to our pediatric clients. This full-time position, located remotely, allows you to make a significant impact on the lives of families with infants and toddlers (ages birth to 3 years) at risk for developmental delays. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive multidisciplinary team assessments to evaluate each child’s developmental status and needs.
\n
• Provide direct services aimed at child development through individualized and group interventions that are developmentally appropriate for children aged 0-3.
\n
• Collaborate with families to create Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that outline goals, objectives, and strategies to facilitate optimal child development.
\n
• Document progress notes, assessments, and reports to track client progress and maintain communication with caregivers and team members.
\n
• Serve as a service coordinator, managing all aspects of the intervention plan to ensure alignment with family needs and compliance with procedures and timelines.
\n
• Facilitate parent-child interactions, empowering families to advocate effectively for their child’s developmental needs.
\n
• Engage in ongoing evaluation of family strengths, resources, and areas of concern to adapt services as needed.
\n
• Provide professional support and guidance, fostering therapeutic relationships with children, parents, and community stakeholders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on infants and toddlers who are experiencing developmental delays or are at risk for such delays across various developmental domains, including cognitive, adaptive behavior, social-emotional skills, self-care, fine motor, gross motor, and communication development. Your approach will emphasize cultural sensitivity and recognition of family values, ensuring that intervention strategies resonate with the family’s unique context.

Qualifications\n

• A valid License Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) credential is required.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is a prerequisite for this position.

• Demonstrated knowledge of family systems and early childhood development is essential.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational abilities to manage client caseloads effectively.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and boundaries in all client interactions.

• Proficient computer skills and documentation capabilities relevant to clinical practice.

• A current driver's license and reliable transportation for potential home visits.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working directly with infants, toddlers, and families is greatly preferred.

• Background in early intervention programs is a plus.

• Bilingual or bicultural skills are advantageous and may enhance service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 68,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
