CareNow Cardio is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Jersey City, New Jersey. This full-time position will allow you to make a significant impact on the lives of our patients, as you work on-site in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center. Work Environment

Our Rehabilitation Center is purposefully designed to offer a serene yet motivating atmosphere for healing and rehabilitation. As part of our team, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to provide the highest level of care. The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Here, you will utilize advanced therapeutic equipment and treatment methodologies to deliver optimal results for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs, using evidence-based methodologies to guide treatment planning.
• Work closely with patients to implement personalized treatment plans, focusing on therapeutic exercises, stretches, and progressive activities that promote mobility and strength.
• Educate patients on proper mechanics and exercises to be performed at home, ensuring they fully understand their treatment regimen.
• Administer prescribed therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Monitor patient progress by maintaining detailed documentation, assessing improvements in strength, range of motion, and overall functionality.
• Keep treatment areas organized and ensure all equipment and supplies are readily accessible for seamless therapy sessions.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care and accuracy in treatment modalities.
• Foster a supportive atmosphere by providing emotional encouragement and motivation to patients as they navigate their rehabilitation journey.
• Uphold high ethical standards, ensuring compliance with patient privacy regulations and rights throughout the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, athletes needing sports rehabilitation, older adults requiring geriatric care, and children with pediatric rehabilitation needs. Your role will directly contribute to improving their functional abilities, facilitating a smooth transition back to daily activities, and enhancing their overall emotional and physical health.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong foundational knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and clinical therapeutic interventions relevant to physical therapy.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for helping patients regain their independence through rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting is required, candidates with additional experience in specialized rehabilitation fields or advanced certifications may be preferred. Compensation and Benefits

The Physical Therapist position at CareNow Cardio offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
