Work Environment

This role is based onsite in our hospital, ensuring that you are directly involved with patients in a dynamic healthcare setting. You will work alongside skilled physicians and healthcare professionals in a warm and supportive atmosphere conducive to professional growth. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, allowing for a well-balanced professional and personal lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, gathering detailed medical histories to ensure accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment plans.
• Perform thorough physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests to formulate effective treatment strategies.
• Administer vaccinations and various medications while educating patients on preventive measures and lifestyle modifications to promote health.
• Monitor and manage chronic conditions, coordinating referrals to specialty care as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize the EPIC EMR system to maintain meticulous and timely documentation of patient encounters.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and stay current on medical advancements to continually enhance the care provided.
• Take the lead in promoting preventive care measures that elevate the overall wellness and life quality of patients.
• Foster strong, compassionate relationships with patients and their families, providing patient-centered care and ensuring comfort throughout their medical journey.
• Adhere strictly to ethical and legal standards in medical practice while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a Physician Assistant will involve working with a diverse patient population, including infants, children, adults, and the elderly. You will be responsible for addressing a wide variety of healthcare needs, ensuring that each patient receives personalized and empathetic care tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Valid PA Certification and a state license are required upon hiring.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a Physician Assistant is mandatory.
• A Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• While one year of experience is required, additional experience as a Physician Assistant is preferred to enhance your contribution to our team.
• Demonstrated proficiency in skills such as effective time management, critical thinking, and effective communication.
• Knowledge of medical documentation and patient management systems, particularly the EPIC EMR system, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
